We had a birthday celebration for my daughter and it was a wonderful experience. Lisa is always open to the artistic direction of the kids and they feel free and comfortable to try things for the first time.

This is one of the best experiences that Julieta has had as part of the Bethesda community.
Lisa has shown not only creativity, but also constant encouragement for Julieta to create art as part of all her projects. From emotional support through art-therapy–like activities to practical support with homework, such as using visual art to represent microbial links and infectious diseases, Lisa has made learning both creative and meaningful.
I would warmly recommend this space to other families looking for a supportive, creative, and caring environment for their children. Lisa creates a community where children feel encouraged to express themselves, grow in confidence, and enjoy learning through creativity.

My son has done sessions with friends twice and all the kids RAVE about them when they’re over! I don’t know what’s going on in this place, but the kids dig it and come home with super fun art work!

My 5 year old daughter absolutely loved her first art class at Artapy Studios. It was fun and engaging. Lisa was as warm and welcoming as one could have hoped for and the space was lovely … artistically bright and open. Will be definitely using Lisa again!

My kiddo is a discerning and choosy one when it comes to enjoying activities—he’s not easy to please and yet he left his first Artapy studio asking immediately to come back, which is almost unheard of for him. He and two friends had a blast and came back with some super cool art work as well!

My (almost) 4 year old had an awesome time! He spent a wonderful morning exploring the various types of art that Lisa had prepared for the kids. Thank you! We can’t wait to come back.

My daughter (7) just tried a class yesterday and had the BEST time! Lisa was so great with the kids and even took the time to send a thank you email with a video she made after the class. I loved watching it and seeing all the smiling faces! We definitely will be returning for more classes.
